The Paint Research Association (PRA) was founded in 1926 as an independent association of member companies to support innovation and growth in the surface coatings sector. PRA is a non-profit making company limited by guarantee and has no shareholders. It was founded by the industry, for the industry and is sustained by involvement in the membership, as well as the continued use of its services.
PRA is governed by a Board of Directors, supported by PRA Council which acts as an advisory panel. Both are formed from representatives of member companies and are reviewed at the Annual General Meeting of members.
You do not have to be a member to benefit from PRA services but membership is recommended. Members receive a selection of free services, discounts on all other services and privileged access to PRA staff, as well as certain member only events.
Whether your company could benefit tangibly from our Information or Technical Services, all industry participants can gain priceless benefit from the Networking & Learning events that bring people together to share ideas and meet key business contacts.
PRA provides a unique combination of market and technical expertise to support innovation and growth of chemicals and coatings companies, as well as users.
